Opus Nigrum was founded by Miguel LS (Gradual Hate), next to Avencio DM in 2008. The band was his opportunity to step away from his other genre and experiment with a different. Opus Nigrum, offers a magical sound experience characterized by impressive compositions. Atmospheric, enigmatic Dark Wave melodies embedded in bombastic choirs and orchestral arrangements are transformed into impressive works of art. Esotericism, philosophy, the search for truth ... medieval landscape of romantic inspiration, beauty and death.
Is it ethereal, atmospheric, gothic, dark, ambient or medieval music? We scale the face of reason to find at least one sign, that could reveal the true dimension of life lest we forget...sung with the solemnity of a religious procession.
